Description:My all black, approx. 18 month old cat went missing from 328 Essex Street, Hamilton (Rt. 22), just over a week ago, so I'm contacting all the nearby shelters in case someone brings him in as a stray. When last seen, he had on a twine "collar" with a metal tag bearing his name -- el Jefe Rondo -- and my cell phone number. He is literally all black, except for a "whisper" of white hairs on his chest, and he's very lithe, and sometimes feisty.About 3 weeks ago he was in a fight and had to have a large abscess drained from his right foreleg; this required shaving that leg, so another identifying feature is that his forleg hair is still short and growing in.
According the shelter where I got him (only in April) he came from a cat colony, so I'm pretty confident that he's out wandering. But he's very friendly and likes people, so my concern is that somehow his tag came off and he adopts another nearby family that doesn't realize he has another home.

Description:Lucky is a large male Tabby cat with soft longish fur. The fur on his back is almost black. He is long with relatively short legs. He has a white chest and chin and white paws. He was last seen on Holly Street in Gloucester, MA (Goose Cove area) on Friday September 16, 2011. He has a loud and insistent meow, never likes to miss a meal and flops on his side when he wants attention. When upset he holds his tail close to his body on the left side. He is wary of strangers. He has been known to get locked into sheds or garages, so we are hoping this is what has occurred.
