Join Cape Ann Animal Aid on every 3rd Thursday of the month for an Overlooked Pets Adoption Day!
Most of these animals have what some may call “imperfections” such as medical or physical challenges and others possess less popular qualities like cats or big dogs with black fur, are older in age, or need additional behavioral training.
In celebration of these special animals and in an effort help them find their forever home; Cape Ann Animal Aid is reducing the adoption fee for select dogs and cats on these days. Adoptions will be completed on a first come, first serve basis and all regular adoption requirements apply. Photos and adoption fees for the select overlooked pets will be posted on this page prior to the 3rd Thursday of every month (usually on the 3rd Monday of every month). |

I am a super cute and mild mannered little lady. I am a Miniature Schnauzer, about 3 years old and have lady-like manners. I am a bashful girl when meeting new people and have a timid nature in general, loud bumps in the night are sure to make me jump! I get along really well with other animals cats and dogs both. I have not lived with children in the past but I have spent some time around calmer pet savvy kids and as long as they go slowly and understand I am a bit nervous we get along just fine. I like to go for rides in the car, love walking on the leash and adore snuggling up next to you on the couch. I am a clean girl and pick up on routine quickly. I would love to join a calmer family where I can let my true personality shine. I am a snuggly-bunny sweat-heart just waiting to make you mine!

I am a social butterfly and just love to meet and greet new folks. I am a great cuddler and am free with my kisses. I enjoy walks around the block and hikes in the wood or strolls through the park, I love spending time out doors. I'd really prefer to be the only dog in the house and am looking forward to having a family to call my own. I am a neat and tidy girl and promise to not make a mess like some of these youngsters do. Bounty is a sweet and well-rounded fella. He loves to play and enjoys people. He is confident and enjoys going for walks-whether it is a walk around the block, a stroll on the beach, or a hike in the woods. Bounty does have a longer coat and will need some extra brushing and grooming. Bounty weighs in at about 48 pounds and we are guessing he has some Spaniel and Golden Retriever mixed into his family tree. He also gets along well with other dogs and we think he would do well with another dog in the home.
