CAAA FOOD FOR PETS PROGRAM: ASSISTENCE FOR LOWER INCOME FAMILIES
The Cape Ann Animal Aid founded the Food for Pets Program. Through this program, donations of cat and dog food are collected at the shelter (un-opened food items and cat litter only) and regularly distributed to lower income families in the community to insure that they are able to keep their animal companions. If you need help providing food for your pets or feeding feral cats in your area (or know someone who needs help) please contact our organizer, Julie Borge of K9-Kuts in Gloucester, MA at 978-282-0989.
LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER
Friends of Animals Spay and Neuter Program	CAAA offers these low cost Friends of Animals Spay and Neuter certificates at our shelter. Visit thier website to learn more or call CAAA at 978-283-6055 to purchase a Massachusetts certificate.

CEASE (Citizens to End Animal Suffering and Exploitation) has focused primarily on the issues of fur, animals in entertainment, and animals on factory farms. Defenders of Wildlife	Defenders of Wildlife is a national, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the protection of all native animals and plants in their natural communities.
