Animals at our shelter receive free grooming services from students at the school! BOATERS HANDYMAN SERVICE Ben & Heather Johnson, owners of Boaters Handyman Service in Gloucester, MA adopted a dog from CAAA and noticed that our outdoor kennel areas needed improved covered areas and offered their services free of cost! We are so thankful for their help and the dogs are too! GREGG SMITH, SAVECAPEANN.COM Gregg Smith comes in to the shelter periodically to film adoptable dogs and cats. These clips run on his weekly television program, Save Cape Ann, every Thursday night at 7pm on Channel 12 (Cape Ann TV). In addition, Gregg creates youtube clips for us with his footage and we are able to post them on our web site. 4TH OF JULY PARADE FLOATS The Cape Ann Animal Aid would like to thank the many friends who contributed to the success of our 4th of July parade float that took part in the Fiesta, Horribles, Manchester, and Rockport parades. Our float depicted Cape Ann Animal Aid’s construction plans for a new shelter and was brought to life by our float constructor, Andrew Farina and talented artist, Carrie Fryklund, who painted the float so beautifully. We would like to extend our appreciation to the following friends who contributed their time and energy to making our float a success: Sandy Barry, Sal Brancaleone, Joan Chabot, Dick Currier, Cindy Dunn, Shirlee Farina, Don and Pam Fryklund, Ron Hadley, Joe Novello and the St. Peter's Fiesta Committee, and Karin and Christian O'Donnell. CAPE ANN ANIMAL AID 2ND ANNUAL COMEDY NIGHT The Cape Ann Animal Aid would like to thank the volunteers and supporters who made the 2nd Annual CAAA Comedy Night a successful event. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Fred Shrigley and The Rhumb Line staff for organizing and hosting the event. Thank you also to Cindy Dunn and Lisa Shrigley Kent. UNDERWOOD PHOTOGRAPHY PET PORTRAIT EVENT TO BENEFIT CAAA The Cape Ann Animal Aid (CAAA) would like to recognize the generosity of Tom and Jacqueline Underwood of Underwood Photography for organizing the Annual Pet Portrait Event benefiting the CAAA. Fifty-percent of the sitting fee is donated to the CAAA through this event in addition to 15% of all additional sales. It is through the support of individuals and businesses like Underwood Photography that we at the CAAA are able to continue our work of rescuing, caring for, and providing shelter for homeless cats and dogs.
